Park City Branch Court Location & General Information

The facility can be found on the east side of Greenleaf Ave. between Washington St. and Belvidere Rd. While the main Lake County courthouse is located in Waukegan, Park City courthouse is one of three branches that hear cases in Lake County, Illinois. Parking is available in the lot located near the West Entrance. This entrance is used for court as well as to access the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Lake County satellite office. This office houses all of the files for the pending traffic tickets, ordinance violations, and misdemeanors heard at that courthouse. Continuances and trial dates can be requested at this facility. Fines, fees and court costs may be paid at this location. The Park City courthouse is open on weekdays from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

What Cases are Heard at the Park City Branch Court?

A variety of moving violations are assigned to the Park City courthouse from speeding to accident-related tickets (i.e. failure to reduce speed and improper lane usage). Although many call Park City “traffic court”, more serious offenses such as driving on a suspended license, retail theft/shoplifting, underage possession of alcohol, and possession of cannabis are heard at the Park City courthouse.
