Round Lake Beach Branch Court Location & General Information

The courthouse is located on the west side of Nicole Lane just north of Rollins Road. The main entrance is located on the east side of the building. Court calls are heard at Round Lake Branch courthouse on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. While the main Lake County criminal courthouse is located in Waukegan, the Round Lake Beach courthouse is one of three branches that hear cases in Lake County, Illinois. It is also known as North Branch Court or Lake County Traffic Court.

This courthouse location has a branch office for the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Lake County where the files for many traffic tickets, ordinance violations, and misdemeanors are held. The Clerk of the Circuit Court can accept payments for fines and court assessments as well as accept many court filings such as motions.

What Cases are Heard at Round Lake Beach Branch Court?

A variety of cases are assigned to the Round Lake Beach courthouse from moving violations (i.e. speeding and stop sign tickets) to retail theft/shoplifting offenses. More serious misdemeanor offenses such as driving on a suspended license or driving without a valid license are heard at the Round Lake Beach courthouse as well.
