Rogue Dooley of Gary, Indiana is charged with DUI, misdemeanor reckless driving, driving without a license, aggravated battery to a police officer, aggravated fleeing police, operating a vehicle without insurance, and having open alcohol in his truck. Dooley allegedly dragged a Chicago police officer about thirty feet after having been pulled over for making an alleged U-Turn in traffic while squealing his tires Saturday night on Lake Shore Drive. The officer, who was on his bicycle, became tangled in the driver’s seatbelt as the driver allegedly tried to speed away when the officer asked for identification. The driver was stopped at the corner of East 31st Street and South Lake Shore Drive when traffic prohibited him from going any further. A breathalyzer was administered to Dooley but the results were not available as of Sunday. The officer did not sustain any life threatening injuries.
