A Chicago man received 18-months probation and 100 hours of community service after crashing into a Rosemont police car last March. Porfirio De La Luz, 40, pled guilty to aggravated DUI as part of a negotiated plea. The Rosemont police officer was returning to his vehicle after a traffic stop when De La Luz crashed into the squad car. Prosecutors allege that the defendant’s BAC was over twice the legal limit at a .182. In addition, officers allege that an open case of beer was found in the back seat of the vehicle.
