The Davis Law Group, P.C. Scholarship

The Davis Law Group, P.C. believes in giving back to our legal community. We are pleased to support student education with The Davis Law Group, P.C. Scholarship. First-year students enrolled at or accepted into colleges, universities, or ABA-accredited law schools in the United States are encouraged to apply. The scholarship is meant to aid with educational expenses for a first-year student meeting the qualifications below.

Scholarship Award:

One (1) scholarship in the amount of $1,000.00 will be awarded annually.

Who:

Any first-year student accepted into or enrolled at a college, university, or ABA-accredited law school in the United States who has the goal of obtaining a law degree is eligible for The Davis Law Group, P.C. Scholarship. There is a preference given to individuals that are (a) from the Chicagoland area, or (b) attending school in the Chicagoland area.

How:

Scholarship applicants must complete the following:

1. Write an essay (minimum 1,000 words) addressing the following:
   1. What is inspiring you to become an attorney?
   2. How do you plan to use your law degree? What are your ambitions in the legal world?
   3. How do you plan to innovate and make progress in your desired area of practice?
2. Provide biographical information including:
   1. First and Last Name
   2. Date
   3. Current School
   4. Degrees
   5. Current Field of Study
   6. Email and Home Address
   7. Phone Number
   8. Relevant Work Experience
   9. Honors Received
3. Your identity may be publicly disclosed as a recipient of the scholarship on our website and/or blog. You may be asked to write a short biography for this purpose.
4. Email your information form and essay to scholarships@illinoislawoffices.com.

Submission Deadline:

Your materials for the scholarship must be received by December 15, 2020, to be considered for the scholarship. The winner of the scholarship will be announced by February 15, 2021.
