As the second most populous county in the United States, Cook County has more than five million residents. Cook County contains more than 130 incorporated municipalities including Chicago. Accounting for more than 50% of the population of Cook County, Chicago is the largest of these municipalities.

A recent AAIM survey found that the highest number of DUI arrests in Cook County outside of Chicago occurred in Chicago Heights, Schaumburg, Skokie, Niles, Orland Park, Buffalo Grove, Evanston, and Arlington Heights.

The Circuit Court of Cook County files more than 1.2 million cases every year. In fact, the Cook County Department of Corrections, commonly known as Cook County Jail, is the largest single site jail in the United States. The Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office employs nearly 900 attorneys, which makes it the second largest prosecutor’s office in the United States, behind Los Angeles County. All misdemeanor and felony crimes committed within the County are prosecuted by the Assistant State’s Attorneys in the Office. The Cook County ASA’s handle over 30,000 felony cases and several hundred thousand misdemeanor cases every year.

Our main office is conveniently located at 500 Skokie Blvd, Suite 175, Northbrook, IL 60062, with easy access from both the Tri-State Tollway (I-294) and the Edens Expressway (I-94).

If you are coming from downtown Chicago on I-90/I-94 North, stay on I-94 West (Edens Expressway). Take Exit 34B for Lake Ave. West and turn right onto Waukegan Rd. Continue for just over one mile, and our office will be on the right-hand side.

We are also just a short drive from the Glenview Metra station, making visits convenient whether you are traveling by car or train.

In addition to our Northbrook location, we also maintain an office at 420 W. Huron Street in Chicago’s River North neighborhood as well as 5 S County St #1N in Waukegan.
